Let’s jump right in!

*Disclaimer: some of the products mentioned in the video are no longer available and therefore are not mentioned in this 2023 updated blog post.

baby boxes with small fees

1. Amazon ($10)

Now we have to start putting in a little more effort into these next couple of boxes. The Amazon Welcome Box is available to customers with active Amazon Prime accounts who create a baby registry with them. It’s still easy, so here is what you need to do:

  1. Have an active Prime account
  2. Create a baby registry
  3. Complete 60% of the registry (all you need to do is hit all the checkmarks on the list until it reaches 60%)
  4. Spend $10 buying something on the registry. (this does not need to be directly from you, but honestly you can just purchase anything you needed to buy anyway by just adding it to the list)

Once you have completed the steps above, do not be surprised if you do not instantly see your free baby box claim. It will take a couple of days before Amazon confirms the $10 were spent along with the completion of the other steps. After a couple of days, you will see a “claim now” button to get the Welcome Box and then you can just add it to your cart.

What I received:

  • Huggies diapers samples
  • WaterWipes sample
  • Cetaphil baby shampoo bottle
  • BabyBum lotion bottle
  • Dr.Brown bottle
  • Baby detergent sample
  • Electrolyte powder mix for mom
  • Baby 3-piece set: mittens, socks and hat
  • Aquaphor diaper rash sample
  • Carters onesie
  • Coupons

Discount: Amazon offers a 15% Completion Discount 60 days before your due date

2. Buy Buy Baby ($10)

The Buy Buy Baby gift bag used to be a completely free, but it looks like they have changed it to where now you must pay $10. A pro is that you can now get this box delivered to your door whereas before you could only claim the bag in-store.

From when I ordered, this is what I received:

  • Registry guide + checklist
  • Avent baby bottle
  • Diaper samples
  • Various coupons
  • Tiny waterwipes sample
  • Belly cream sample for mom
  • Baby detergent sample
  • Aquaphor diaper rash cream
  • Baby shampoo + lotion
  • 1 Pacifier
  • Aveeno baby lotion bottle sample
  • Booggie wipes sample
  • Pampers diaper sample + coupons

Discount: You will get a 15% Off Completion Discount about 6 weeks from your due date.

3. Babylist ($16.50)

This box brings a few great goodies, but it is by far the one that requires the most effort. In order to receive this box, you will not only need to spend a minimum of $10 but you will also have to pay for a $6.50 shipping fee, totaling to about $17. If you would like to get the Babylist Hello Baby Box, follow the steps below:

  1. Create babylist registry
  2. Add 3 items to your registry directly from the babylist store
  3. Add 3 items to your registry from other stores by installing the extension they offer.
  4. Make a minimum purchase of $10

What I received:

  • Burt’s Bees onesie
  • 3 bottles! (Dr. Brown, MAM, and Avent)
  • Huggies diapers samples
  • Munchkin pacifier
  • Enfamil formula can
  • coupons
  • Wipes samples (Aveeno and Honest)
  • Aveeno lotion bottle
  • Gripe water sample
  • Desitin diaper rash cream sample
  • Belly cream for mom
  • Baby body wash + lotion samples

Discount: Babylist offers a 15% Completion Discount 6 weeks before your due date

4. Noobie ($12.95 for shipping)

The Noobie box is easy to claim. While the box itself is “free”, you do have to pay a $12.95 shipping fee. Just sign up on their website and claim the gift.

What I received:

  • Cuties diapers (5)
  • WaterWipes samples
  • Organic nipple balm sample
  • Camilia teething medicine
  • Nursing pads
  • Pantyliners
  • Hair + body wash for mom
  • Aquaphor diaper rash bottle
  • Belly cream sample
  • Lactation supplemetng
  • Prenatal supplement

My honest opinion is that this box was not worth the $12. There were no full size bottles, drinking bottles, pacifiers or anything of the sorts. Just many small samples which you will be better off finding on one of the free boxes.

other “freebies”

1. Kiinde Breastfeeding Starter Pack ($4.99 shipping)

What it brings:

  • Bottle case
  • Pump adaptor
  • Kiinde twits bags (6oz)
  • Nipple with travel case

2. Kabrita Goat Milk ($6.99 shipping)

The Kabrita free offer used to include snacks, but it has now changed to only include their Goat Milk Toddler Formula. It is a “free” full sized can and includes $14 worth of coupons but you still need to pay for shipping. This offer is for toddlers, so not something new first time moms might be on the scope for. You can always come back to this offer later if you are still interested when your baby is older!

I hope these free to low cost baby stuff and baby samples help you out! If you have any other I did not mention, feel free to leave it in the comments below so others parents can find them too!
