I’m Yessenia, the mom and founder behind Motherhood and I.

A little about myself: I am currently a mom to one amazing toddler and two kitties. I grew up in Miami, FL and since then have moved to different states and have currently landed in the Midwest. I am an aspiring content creator and blogger who currently works full-time and tries to jumble work, baby, marriage, and hobbies all in the same 24 hours.

The moment I found out I was pregnant at changed my life. From unexpected emotions and finding happiness, becoming a mom has been one of the most rewarding experiences I have endured. I want to share the REAL motherhood journey that does not just involve the social media highlights we see online, but the real, raw, rewarding moments.

This blog was created to share just that. The highs, lows and everything in between about our motherhood journeys. My goal is to connect moms with one another who just want to raise happy, capable little human beings. On the blog, you will find a mix of motherhood, self-care, beauty, travel content and more.
